Superior Janitorial Services (SJS) is a professional cleaning company based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. We provide a comprehensive range of residential and commercial cleaning services including regular house cleaning, deep cleaning, office and commercial janitorial services, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-construction cleanup, floor care and restoration, and window cleaning.
We serve all neighbourhoods and districts throughout Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This includes the downtown core, East End, West End, the Gore Street corridor, Millcreek, Station Mall area, Pinewood Park, Country Club Hills, Crimson Ridge, and all surrounding residential and commercial zones.
Not at all. Many of our residential clients prefer to go about their day while we work. You can provide a spare key, keypad code, or arrange to let us in and leave.
Scheduling Questions

For standard recurring service (weekly or biweekly), we recommend booking at least 3–5 business days in advance to secure your preferred day and time slot.
We offer flexible scheduling to match every lifestyle and business need. Our available frequencies include: one-time cleans (no commitment, perfect for special occasions or one-off needs), weekly service (our most popular residential plan — consistent, routine care every 7 days), biweekly service (a thorough clean every two weeks, popular with smaller households and offices), and monthly service (a deep-level visit once a month for clients who prefer to handle day-to-day tidying themselves). Commercial clients can also arrange daily janitorial service. Custom schedules are available — just ask.
Yes, we do our best to accommodate your preferred day and time slot. We operate Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with Sunday appointments available on request.
Cleaning Questions
Our standard recurring cleaning covers all the essential areas of your home or office to keep it consistently clean between visits. This typically includes: dusting and wiping all accessible surfaces, countertops, and shelving; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (toilet, sink, tub/shower, mirrors, and fixtures); cleaning the kitchen (counters, stovetop, microwave exterior, sink, and cabinet faces); vacuuming all carpeted areas and rugs; sweeping and mopping all hard floors; emptying trash cans; wiping down light switches and door handles; and tidying common areas. For first-time clients, we recommend starting with a deep clean before transitioning to regular maintenance visits.
e use a carefully selected range of professional-grade cleaning products that balance effectiveness with safety. Our standard products are biodegradable, environmentally responsible, and low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Yes. We provide specialized cleaning for medical clinics, dental offices, physiotherapy centres, and similar healthcare environments. Healthcare cleaning requires a higher level of disinfection protocol than standard commercial cleaning — particularly for high-touch surfaces, waiting areas, examination rooms, and restrooms.
Yes, for commercial clients we can provide service logs and completion checklists upon request. These document what was cleaned, by whom, and at what time — giving you accountability and transparency for every visit.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing varies based on several factors: the size of your space (number of rooms and square footage), the type of cleaning required (standard, deep clean, move-in/out, post-construction, commercial), the frequency of service (one-time vs. recurring), and any specific add-ons or special requirements.
Yes, all quotes are 100% free and there is absolutely no obligation to book. Once we provide a quote based on the information you’ve given us, we honour that price.
We understand that plans can change. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel without any charge. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a short-notice fee may apply to help cover the cost of our team’s reserved time and any travel already arranged.
